"The best way to safeguard the skills of India's native artists, is to market their products and increase the demand"
I love the art and crafts of North East India. The first time I went there I returned loaded with around 150 kgs of artwork. But what disheartens me is that many of these magnificent art forms of our country are dying and so many of them are already extinct. But I am too small an individual to protect the dying art of this country. But, I couldn't sit back. I had to do something to protect what I loved. Hence, I launched Dhoop.
Aradhana is the owner of Dhoop Crafts, a Mumbai based boutique which curates exquisite Indian artworks and offers it to its national and well as international customer base.
